Jay did not break the 300s, unfortunately. Our bodies don't always do what we expect. We have found even the slightest changes in our routine from week to week can really effect the outcome of our weights. On the other hand, I am very happy to leave behind the 180s, forever!
Make sure to tune in next week! I have a feeling he'll be leaving those 300s behind once and for all.

I think it is so awesome that you guys have each other to do this with! Tell us, does it make it easier than when either of you tried to do it alone? Also, what kind of changes do you make? Good ones, bad ones? What is so great about this, is not that you will be "thin, but that you will be healthy and in shape! You guys are a great team. Just more evidence of how great you are together :)
ReplyDeleteOne other thing I noticed: Jay your posture has improved according to the pictures. Hav eyou noticed that change at all?
ReplyDeleteIt helps us stay honest, you have another person right there to help you be accountable to because sometimes it's hard to just be accountable to yourself. So doing this together helps strengthen our resolve to complete this lifestyle change.
ReplyDeleteReally the largest change we have made is simply eating better foods and working out. It is amazing how much better you feel just by eating wholesome foods and saying "No thanks!" to fast food. It has been over three months since we have even stopped at a McDonald's. When you combine the eating changes with working out six days a week, everything starts to fall into place and a routine forms. Then it is just having the support and resolve to see this through to the end. The blog helps us accomplish it, and also doing it together.
I have noticed that my posture has changed. Not only from the pictures but also from just my core strength and upper back muscles. The core comes from 35 minutes of cardio every day and then the upper body workouts twice a week help with the back. The stronger my muscles get the better the hold my bones in the correct position. SO not only do I feel like I walk taller, but I also feel better all around!
